When you sign up

We use your email address to send occasional messages about new music, videos and shows. Signing up is optional. We ask you to confirm your email address, and keep a record of your signup, confirmation and subscription preferences.

We send these emails with your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect how your information was used before you unsubscribed.

The services we use

Kit stores the subscriber list and sends emails on our behalf. Email delivery and engagement information may be processed to operate the list and understand which announcements are useful. Information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States, using the safeguards described in Kit’s data processing agreement.

Netlify hosts this website and processes technical information such as IP addresses and requests to keep it running and protect it from misuse. The website also requests its typeface from Google Fonts. We use these services for the legitimate interests of operating and securing the website.

We do not sell your email address or upload the subscriber list to advertising platforms.

How long we keep information

We keep your subscription information while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, marketing emails stop. A limited record of your opt-out may be retained so that you are not accidentally added again. Technical and delivery records are retained only as needed to operate the services, resolve problems and meet legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your information, request its deletion or portability, or ask us to restrict or object to its use where those rights apply. Contact hello@louisjosephmusic.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
